Palf MotionTextBox

Creates a text-following background box with in and out motion.

Installation

Copy the UI edition to ScriptUI Panels. Run the non-UI edition through Run Script File or a launcher.

Operation

  1. 01

    Select the target text layer.

  2. 02

    Run Apply to add a shape layer underneath the text.

  3. 03

    Adjust the effect controls on the generated layer.

Do not remove the generated parenting: the expression requires the parent text dimensions.

Controls

Colour
Background-box colour.
In / Out
Enable entrance and exit motion.
Fixed Width / Height
Switches width or height to a fixed value.
Width / Height
Sets padding, or the dimensions when fixed.
Start Point / End Point
Sets the motion interval in frames relative to source-text keyframes.
Ease
Adjusts easing for keyframes within the interval.
Offset Pos
Fine-tunes the box position.
